Statement of Purpose

• The Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP) values support and promote the training with high quality clinical pharmacy to improve human health by extending the frontiers of clinical pharmacy training.

 

Policy

• SSCP is committed to create opportunities for clinical pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students to network and acquire the skills necessary to develop and improve their clinical practices by launching traineeships activities.

• Definition of training: A training committee and workshops are set up at the level of the association with the approval of the board of directors of the association, which supervises the establishment of all training courses and workshops in the fields of clinical pharmacy, and coordination with the branches of the association regarding its approval, establishment and evaluation.

 

Procedure

• The SSCP will create at least 3 scientific clubs registered in the association

• The SSCP will support the training programs and workshops organized by the clubs for at least one workshop for each scientific club.

• The SSCP will offer clinical traineeships in specialized areas of practice that enable clinicians to develop new/enhanced their clinical practice.

• The SSCP will support and encourage at least 10 clinical pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students to registered in club activities
