Statement of Purpose

• The Saudi Society for Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP) values supporting the literature with high quality clinical pharmacy via supporting, collaborating with its working members

Policy

• SSCP is committed to encourage and support clinical pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students in engaging in scholarly activities.

• Scholarly activities are defined as applying for research grants, conducting research, and disseminating research results through presentations in local, national, and international conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed publications.

Procedure

• The SSCP will support 2 scientific research projects at least in an annual basis

• The SSCP will support presentations reporting the results of ongoing and completed research on its annual meeting.

• The SSCP will encourage submission to refereed and peer reviewed publications through workshops and other support efforts.

• The SSCP will promote and recognize during its annual meeting good research practice and outcomes among clinical pharmacist, pharmacy residents and the students they involve in their research, including advocacy for appropriate approval processes relative to release of data collected by students, faculty and/or external DSU constituents.

• The SSCP will frequently recognize clinical pharmacy related publications over its social media channels

• The SSCP will work on building effective research agreements with other relevant scientific bodies nationally and internationally

• The SSCP will work on organizing research competitions for working members and members of the association

• The research related activities will be disseminated through the SSCP official social media channels on a regular basis
